This section covers the hardware set for our use in this project: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
[Xbox] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
So basically its 99.9% a common computer. The only difference lies on the way the hardware interacts with the software, since the BIOS have security functions that test if a program have or have not permission to access any device. All code have to be digitally signed with 2048 bit RSA encryption. This is a very strong encryption, since common bank transactions use a standard 1024 bit RSA encryption. The xbox also use a specific partition system, the FATX.

Note: We saw that the notebook didn't have an USB port when we first had a chance to see it. So it will not be used in the project. Instead we will connect to Professor Guto's Notebook (a.k.a. Killer Robot's Notebook).
